About
The story behind Falls Road
I didn't set out to do this. I set out to fix one annoying problem.
Years ago I was working in financial services operations, watching my team grind through a process by hand that was eating hours every single day. It bothered me. So I found a data partner, built a way to automate the whole thing, and flipped the switch. Revenue went up tenfold. We doubled the size of the department. And I was hooked.
That became the thing I do. For two decades, in one of the most numbers-driven, high-pressure industries there is, my job was to walk into an operation and find the money leaking out of it. Sometimes that meant building a system to measure performance nobody knew how to measure. Once it meant proving, with the company's own data, that an expensive process they'd run for years wasn't necessary at all. The answer was almost always sitting right there in the business. Nobody had looked.
Here's what I figured out: a missed call in a high-volume operation and a missed call at a plumbing company are the same thing. Lost money. A follow-up nobody sent, a customer list nobody used, hours wasted on work a simple system could handle. I'd seen every version of it.
So now I help local businesses with it. The HVAC company. The roofer. The salon. The folks who are great at the actual work but are losing leads, drowning in admin, and running on tools from 2012, usually without realizing how much it's costing them.
I'm building something myself, and I've got a family, so I understand what's really at stake for these owners. It isn't just a business. It's how they take care of the people who matter.
I started Falls Road Advisory Group because I kept thinking: I wish someone had offered this to me five years ago. Somebody who could walk in, see what's broken, and just fix it without making the whole thing complicated.
That's the job. That's the whole job.
Why Falls Road exists
Most small businesses aren't behind because the owner isn't working hard enough. They're behind because they're running on outdated tools, missing leads they never see, and doing hours of admin a week that a simple system could handle. The big companies they compete against have teams for this. The local owner has himself, a phone, and not enough hours.
Falls Road exists to give that owner the same edge: the modern systems and practical technology the big guys use, without the enterprise price tag or the complexity.
Who I help
Local service businesses run by people who are great at the work: HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, landscaping, salons, and the like. If you're good at what you do but you know the business side could be running sharper, that's exactly who this is for.
